New Showroom Displays Abundant Product Offerings

Homewood, AL— Among the major complaints consumers have when beginning their remodeling quest is a lack of product choices. This often forces people to visit multiple showrooms in order to find just what they need. Designers without their own showrooms and allied professionals often face similar problems.

The team at Need & Co. decided to address this challenge by creating a new showroom that is focused on providing the widest array of products possible, along with service that would make one-stop-shopping simple and painless.

Sunny Remodel

Need & Co.’s 2,200-sq.-ft. showroom lies in the heart of Homewood, AL, and caters to designers, builders, architects, remodelers and consumers. While president and owner, David Harrison, CAPS, completed the construction, he notes that the showroom’s overall design was a group effort.

The building needed an entire remodel to create the primarily open floor plan of the showroom, Harrison offers. Abundant windows bring in plenty of natural light – which is maximized by the openness of the layout – and the many windows help draw street traffic.

A number of kitchen and bath vignettes populate the interior of the showroom. In addition, a cabinet product selection center that showcases over 100 door and color combinations provides ample choice options for a wide array of potential clients.

An Extensive Selection

Indeed, Harrison believes what sets the showroom apart is the sheer number of products it showcases. To provide clients with never-ending style possibilities, he notes that the team opted to give clients as many product choices as was feasible.

Harrison explains: “There are five other cabinet shops within a mile of the showroom, but most only show one or two displays. They have a few doors, but we’re showing 17 different vignettes, not counting our doors. We’re showing arch doors, square doors and cathedral doors, and we show several different ways to finish the cabinets.”

One of the vignettes features a highly styled ADA-compliant bathroom, a reflection of the design team’s desire to showcase accessible design options.

Another vignette houses one of the showroom’s focal points – an evergreen island with antique glass in the hutch portion.

The product selection center features a 15’-long wall that displays complementary sample doors, granite counter and vanity tops and finishes. The showroom also presents range hoods for the kitchen and additional islands to showcase a wide variety of products.
